Stuart Harper, President of Build Promise, is happy to announce that Shanell Russell was selected to receive a $100 Gift Card from Tops Market. She was chosen at random from among the 70 people who completed our community survey. The responses will be used to help identify the services to be provided in the new Build Promise Community Access Center scheduled to open on Sycamore Street in 2025. The gift card was presented by Rodney Rodríguez, manager of the Northwest Bank Jefferson Branch, on behalf of the Build Promise Community Advisory Group. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Innovating to bring change
A million reasons to be thankful!
The family of Jane and Bill Greene III have made a transformational gift to impact the neediest in Western New York. Jane Greene has honored her husband Bill Greene III, who passed in 2021, by continuing their legacy of caring for others by donating ONE MILLION DOLLARS to the Build Promise Project. Thank you!!!
The Build Promise Project
The Build Promise Campaign seeks to raise funds for the construction and associated costs for a year-round community health and wellness center for the needy. Right now, there are approximately 1,100 homeless people on any given night with the majority of them being men. At the moment, there are about 190 beds available throughout the city. We look to change that by providing shelter and care for those in need.
